Broadband Wooshing out the door for Christmas

The prospect of having broadband up and running just five minutes after it’s unwrapped from under the Christmas tree is pushing Woosh Wireless to the top of many Christmas shopping lists.

Sandra Geange, General Manager Sales and Marketing at Woosh Wireless, says the company’s present Christmas special of its wireless broadband service at just $19.95 a month for six months is proving extremely popular and Woosh was experiencing record sales.

“However, it’s not just a matter of price. People know that with our broadband installation packs they can be up and running in minutes, without the need to book a technician, which is the case with fixed-wire services.

“Clearly on Christmas Day people won’t want to wait around to get up and going.

“Our present offer makes broadband truly affordable and Woosh has the added benefits of portability while freeing up existing phone lines.”

She says that those taking up the offer will also be able to take advantage of the company’s $99 modem price currently on offer.

For those wanting to spend a little more there is also the Woosh PC Card, which not only offers total portability within the company’s network but resets the whole portable broadband market in terms of its speed and price.

”The card itself costs a highly competitive $499 but the major savings for users come because the card uses standard Woosh plans,” she says.

“That means for $39.95 a month (including GST) a user can use 1 gigabyte of data a month. Under other competing plans for mobile broadband that level of use can cost more than $500 a month. The $19.95 a month offer also applies to new users signing up for the Woosh PC Card.”
