New Zealand’s stunning landscape on show
A Mighty River Power sponsored exhibition featuring stunning landscapes by thirty New Zealand artists is on display at the Lake Taupo Museum and Art Gallery until Wednesday 27 April.
The “Our Land” exhibition has been assembled from around New Zealand featuring a number of landscapes by leading New Zealanders including Dick Frizzell.
“We are proud to be able to support such a quality exhibition that features stunning paintings of New Zealand landscape,” says Mighty River Power General Manager External Affairs Neil Williams.
“There has been an excellent response to 'Our Land' and we're just thrilled with the public response," says Gallery Director Ms Karen Williams.
“The collection is a beautiful selection of New Zealand scenery and it’s definitely the highlight of the galleries 2005 exhibition programme.”
“We are fortunate to have the generous support of Mighty River Power to help make this exhibition possible.”
Ms Williams believes that people will enjoy the common element of landscape painting whilst at the same time having the chance to appreciate the variety of work in the one exhibition.
