Sky Reaches 600, 000 Subscribers!
Sky Television confirmed today that it has recorded a total subscriber count of over 600,000 subscribers. The figure represents over 41% of all New Zealand households and supports SKY’s position as one of the fastest growing pay television operations in the world.
Commenting on the milestone, SKY Television Chief Executive, John Fellet said. "Reaching the target of 600, 000 subscribers one month earlier than anticipated is a fantastic achievement. However, SKY still has a long way to go before attaining the penetration rates of 75 - 80% realised by pay television networks in other countries.”
