Jasons Travel Media achieves milestone

Jasons Travel Media Limited listed on the NZAX and share trading commenced on the NZAX on Thursday 30 June 2005.

“For Jasons, as for any company, listing on the Stock Exchange is a major milestone in the company’s development. We’ve worked towards this for the last five years and it is rewarding to see the moment arrive and be achieved,” says John Sandford, CEO, Jasons Travel Media.

“Our first move towards listing was taken when we brought on an independent board of directors five years ago,” says John Sandford. “The business has taken many steps up the ladder in its 38 years and the listing is another step, a major one for the company.”

Jasons is an online pioneer operating one of the country’s first travel sites. Jasons Travel Channel™ www.jasons.com launched in New Zealand in 1996 and today is one of New Zealand’s most used travel websites.

“Jasons has grown by being progressive - not by standing still. We continually invest in innovation such as the next major development of Jasons Travel Channel™ which is already well advanced with six months of work in place. This technology redevelopment will take Jasons online business to the next level of growth through innovation” says John Sandford.
