Positively Wellington Business Greets Regional Growth Framework
Positively Wellington Business (PWB), the Wellington region’s economic development agency is delighted with today’s Growth Framework launch, said PWB’s CEO Philip Lewin.
Mr Lewin was speaking as part of a region-wide bus tour for the greater Wellington area’s mayors, councillors and other members of the Wellington Regional Strategy Forum.
“Today all the councils of the region who fund PWB have come out with a shared vision for our economic and community future,” said Mr Lewin.
“As the region’s economic development delivery arm, we are very glad to see this new and stronger mandate coming into view.”
PWB delivers a wide range of business assistance across the region from investment attraction, to incubation and training facilitation, to supporting clusters of key Wellington businesses in areas such as manufacturing, education and professional services.
Working on behalf of Hutt City, Porirua City, Kapiti Coast District, Upper Hutt and Wellington City PWB helps businesses compete in the local economy and succeed in the global marketplace.
