It's National - By Half A Bean!
While the other election polls have varied wildly throughout the campaign, the Muffin Break Bean Poll has consistently shown the two main parties neck and neck.
Less than 2% has separated Labour and National during the Bean Poll and the final tally is no exception.
With more than 60,000 votes now cast, the results show National ahead by a whisker on 35.8% with Labour right behind on 35.3%.
The Greens and New Zealand First are on 11.4% and 8.5% respectively, with the remaining 9% cast for the "others".
"Given how close the 2002 Bean Poll was to the actual election result, it will be fascinating to see on Saturday if our 2005 poll again mirrors the mood of the electorate," said Muffin Break General Manager Garry Croft.
The Bean Poll allowed customers at the 36 Muffin Break stores nationwide to vote - via coffee bean - for their preferred party.
