Backpacker Transport discounted 15%

Press Release 27 December 2005

Backpacker Transport discounted 15%

New Zealand's leading backpacker & independent transport provider is pleased to announce that the best backpacker discount in New Zealand will be continuing until May 2006.

For all Transport Passes, Magic is reducing its standard price by 15%. Bookings are valid until 31 May 2006, for travel at any time.

With the downturn in visitor arrivals to New Zealand, the continued strength of the $NZ and increased competition particularly from campervan and car rental companies discounting their daily rates, Magic is taking a lead within the backpacker transport networks in order to remain competitive.

Research has shown that the most important deciding factor for backpackers and independent travellers is value for money. With Magic's status as New Zealand's first Qualmark endorsed visitor transport, Magic continues to offer a quality product at the best price.

Help New Zealand’s visitors to ‘Discover NZ for Less’ - and book Magic Travellers Network today!

Magic Travellers Network operates a hop on, hop off backpacker coach service around New Zealand, offering pickups from hostels along the route. The driver/guides provide entertaining commentary and an accommodation and activity booking service. Magic Travellers Network is Qualmark endorsed, and operated by Tourmasters South Pacific, a member of ITOC.
