Lotto Jackpots to $2 million
Lotto Jackpots to $2 million
Lotto, Powerball and Strike have all jackpotted in the first draw of the new year, says NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Trevor Hall.
"Next Saturday's draw will be a big one, with Lotto worth an estimated $2 million, Powerball worth an estimated $1.5 million and Strike 4 an estimated $700,000. That is a total of $4.2 million up for grabs on Saturday 14 January," says Mr Hall.
One winner of tonight's draw was Masterton's Valerie Jackson, who won $50,000 live on television when she spun the Winning Wheel.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Mr Hall said winning tickets are identified by the serial number at the bottom right of every Lotto ticket. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
This week's Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Meadowlands Lotto in Howick, Auckland. The serial number is 127-08866305-20XX
