TV One's Nightly News Show To Be Captioned
TVNZ is pleased to announce that TV ONE's evening news bulletin, Tonight, will be captioned live from the 20th of February 2006. This follows the launch of captions for Midday in August 2005. One News at 6pm has been captioned for over 10 years.
The decision to caption Tonight was made in response to viewer demand and was made possible with funding from NZ On Air. The move comes as part of TVNZ's ongoing strategy to enhance captioning services.
