Regional Housing Markets In New Zealand
"Regional Housing Markets In New Zealand - Motu - February 2006"
Important New Zealand Housing Report - Centre
For Housing Research Of New Zealand ( Charnz ):

This excellent report is required reading and needs to be widely reported in New Zealand and elsewhere. It clearly illustrates that land supply strangulation is the key reason for the excessive housing price increases and losses of housing affordability within most urban areas of New Zealand.
Its findings very much mirror those of the recently released 2006 Demographia International Housing Affordability Survey www.demographia.com .
It is hoped that we see similar research from Australia in the near future.
Widespread discussion and distribution of this excellent report is encouraged.
