Morning TV Development On Hold
TV3 has decided to put on hold plans for developing an early morning local TV news programme.
“The television landscape is changing and we need to be careful about committing significant resource to an off peak early morning news show,” said TV3 Director of News & Current Affairs, Mark Jennings.
“We have reviewed our priorities and believe that with more attention 3 News, Campbell Live and Nightline could become even stronger programmes,” he said.
“We are not saying ‘no’ to morning TV we are simply putting development on hold for the time being,” said Mr Jennings.
