Decision on Green’s flexible work hours law welcome
The Select Committee’s decision not to proceed with the Green’s Flexible Working Hours Bill is sensible and welcome, says David Lowe, Employment Services Manager for the Employers & Manufacturers Association (Northern).
“The Bill was legislation for legislation’s sake,” he said.
“We are pleased Parliament has decided not to put employers through the wringer just for the sake of it.
“The vast majority of employers already operate flexible working hours whenever they can, and we are pleased the Select Committee has recognized that.”
