New Zealand Companies Receive the Superior Taste Award 2006 from the International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) in Brussels
BRUSSELS, May 11, 2006 - The International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) will hold its annual Awards Ceremony on May 19th at Château Sainte-Anne to reward superior tasting food and beverage products submitted to its juries of top European Chefs and Sommeliers.
During the Ceremony attended by diplomats, officials and the international press, Fruit'n'Fire Ltd. (Auckland) and KYH (Auckland) will be honoured with the prestigious Superior Taste Awards 2006.
"In 2006, 430 products from more than 55 countries have been tested and 287 awarded. We expect to reach 800 products for the next evaluation" comments Louis Frère, Managing Partner. "Given the crucial importance of good taste in the consumer's choice, we are delighted to provide companies with a unique marketing tool. The Superior Taste Award is a powerful and credible label that can significantly lift sales when properly communicated".
