Number of 2006 EFFIE Entries Remains Strong

With one hundred entries received, the 2006 New Zealand EFFIE Awards Show looks set to be a stellar evening where agencies will be recognised for their outstanding achievements.

Presented annually by the Communication Agencies Association of New Zealand (CAANZ), the EFFIE’s are awarded in recognition of the year’s most effective advertising campaigns which have delivered superior results in meeting or surpassing the objectives they were designed to achieve.

This year’s EFFIE awards ceremony welcomes the introduction of a brand new category, ‘Return on Investment’, which is sponsored by The National Business Review. Another change to this year’s ceremony is the ‘Integrated Category’ has been renamed the ‘Paradigm Shift’ award.

Judging will take place at the Heritage Hotel from September 11-15 where 45 judges will narrow down the finalists who will be announced the week commencing September 18.

The 2006 New Zealand EFFIE Awards are held in association with its major sponsor TVNZ and ANZA with support from Fairfax Media, AdMedia, ACP Media, TNS, Nielsen Media Research, Xtramsn, jobmedia, The Radio Bureau, The Internet Bureau and NBR.

The 2006 New Zealand EFFIE Award Show will be held at Sky City on Thursday, October 12. Tickets are on sale now and can booked by downloading the order form at www.caanz.co.nz. Tickets are $195 + GST per person or $1,800 + GST for a table of ten.
