Summer kicks off early with Monteith's Summer Ale

Summer may not officially start until 1 December, but if you want to begin celebrating early, Monteith's has just the answer.

Warm weather, socialising and relaxing beside the pool are great ways to enjoy warmer weather. But somehow, a Monteith's Summer Ale in hand just tops it all off.

It is the eighth year Monteith's Brewing Company has released a limited number of its popular summer brew.

Monteith's brand manager, Phillipa Cameron, says a refreshingly honey-tinged sweet and spicy flavour makes Monteiths Summer Ale a great warm weather brew.

"It's the essence of summer in a bottle. It's a refreshingly different beer that delivers the opportunity to slip into summer with one sip. And because it's produced seasonally, you'll never get the same Monteith's Summer Ale taste two summers in a row!

"It provides a perfect complement to your favourite summer foods, including salads, spicy stir-fry's, barbeques, pork and chicken."

Monteith's Summer Ale is available on tap in all Monteith's Concept Bars from 29 September and by the pack in supermarkets and bottle stores from 20 October 2006.

And if you're a team player, Monteith's Concept Bars will also offer Summer Ale - complete with fresh fruit - in jugs to share.
