OceanaGold Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
OceanaGold announced that effective today, Ross Glossop has been appointed its Chief Financial Officer and will replace Brian Kinsella who has resigned for personal reasons.
Ross has 25 years of experience in the resources industry, where he has held positions in internal audit, treasury, and finance with increasing managerial responsibilities. He was most recently Regional CFO for Barrick Gold Corporation’s Australia/Africa Business Unit and was previously Executive General Manager of Administration with Homestake Gold Australia Limited.
Ross holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration and Master of Accounting degree. He has extensive experience in corporate governance, including IFRS and Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements.
OceanaGold’s Chief Executive Officer, Steve Orr said “Ross brings broad finance and accounting management experience to our executive management team. His diverse accounting knowledge and international experience will make a significant contribution to OceanaGold’s growth strategy.”
