Snow Park NZ Announces 2007 Season Pass Prices

Snow Park NZ has announced its 2007 season pass rates together with a new tiered system of day pass rates.

The Early Bird Pass will go on sale on February 26 and remain available until March 9. During this period adult passes are $699, the youth (up to 18 year olds) season pass is $449 and students at $559. Between April 16 to 27 the Pre-Season pass price is $899, with student passes at $719 and Youth at $599. The full price Season Pass will then stand at $1,199 from 1 June. As with previous seasons, children under six can ride for free.

Snow Park NZ has introduced a new system for day pass rates with pricing varying according to the time of the season. Day rates start at $64 for the early part of the season rising to $75 for high season (21 July-7 September). For the spring period the price drops to $55.

Other lift pass prices announced today include the concession pass rate, for those who don’t want to commit to a full season pass, there are great rates on offer to purchase a 10-visit pass. Purchased before June 20 a 10-visit pass is just $441, whilst purchased in season will cost $490.

Sam Lee, Snow Park NZ manager, said the new tiered system provided a higher degree of flexibility for customers as well as great value spring riding.

“Spring can often be the best time of year to visit New Zealand mountains and we hope our new pricing structure will encourage riders to visit during this traditionally quieter part of the season. We are looking forward to a great season this year having made some significant investments over the summer, to improve the terrain park and also advance the off-field facilities such as accommodation and a new bar and restaurant to appeal to the wider visitor market.”
