Fiat Punto Number One In Europe
Fiat Punto Number One In Europe
The new Fiat Punto
is Europe’s best selling car, with figures released by
industry analysts JATO Dynamics revealing that in February
the Italian car maker’s new small car out sold all of its
rivals to deliver 32,059 Puntos to new owners across Europe
in February.
“Europe is a notoriously difficult
market, with very different market demands and requirements
across the continent, so a car has to be very good to take
the number one slot,” explains Lawrie Malatios, General
Manager for Fiat Cars in New Zealand. “The Punto is
equally appealing to the British, the French, the Spanish,
the Finns and, of course, the Italians for its style,
economy, quality and value for money, the same virtues that
are driving its sales in New Zealand!”
