Auckland International Airport Limited bond issue postponed
Auckland International Airport Limited (AIAL) has decided to postpone its proposed offer of up to $200 million of seven and ten year fixed rate bonds given the current high level of long-term interest rates. AIAL will continue to monitor the interest rate environment with a view to determining the optimal timing for a future bond issue.
The proposed bond issue was intended to refinance a number of bond maturities. AIAL has a range of other funding sources available to meet these maturities and all other anticipated funding requirements.
