Iconic Bluff ‘Paua House’ To Be

The internationally renowned iconic ‘Paua House’ in Bluff has come on to the market. Previously owned by the late Fred and Myrtle Flutey, the property is being marketed by Harcourts Invercargill.
Set on a generous 1444sqm section, the 1950s three bedroom ‘brick and rough cast’ home has two living rooms and an office, as well as “spectacular views” across the main road, Marine Parade, to the sea.
Sales Manager of Harcourts Invercargill, Carl Wilson said there has been huge ongoing interest in the property both locally and nationally for some time, and the current owner and grandson of the Flutey’s, Ross Bowen, had decided to sell.
With a wide mixture of potential buyers, Mr Wilson is expecting “massive interest” in the property and is keen to discuss the options with all interested parties.
The property is to be auctioned on Thursday 26 April, 2007 in Harcourts Invercargill’s auction rooms.
