Woosh smashes the $20 broadband barrier for May

Innovative broadband provider Woosh has smashed the $20 a month broadband barrier for the month of May, offering genuine broadband to all Kiwis from as little as $17.95 a month.

Woosh Marketing Director Nick Clarke says, “For May, our pricing is just $17.95 for our ‘Entry’ plan, which is New Zealand's lowest price broadband by far. In addition, if the customer does not need a phone line, their savings are potentially even greater.”

The May Woosh offer is $17.95 per month (usually $24.95 per month) for the Woosh ‘Entry’ wireless broadband plan, which includes 200MB. Everyone who signs up in May will also retain the special rate of $17.95 as their ongoing monthly rate.

Clarke added, “Many of our competitors force broadband users to add a Telecom phone line at considerable extra cost, whereas Kiwis using Woosh wireless do not need a phone line at all, and Woosh wireless phone can be added for just $20 to the plan – again much cheaper than the competition.”

The Woosh ‘Entry’ plan is also suitable for dialup users moving to broadband for the first time, and is an excellent way to experience the speed and benefits of broadband for around the same price as many people pay for dialup.

The plan also features unique protection from hidden charges. If a user exceeds their download allowance, instead of receiving heavy excess usage charges, they are simply returned to dialup speed until the end of the month. What’s more, the $17.95 plan rate does not even require that customers use Woosh for their toll calls (although the Woosh toll calls are equally competitive).
