Real estate agent review and rating website launched

Recent criticism of unethical practices by real estate agents and a growing public distrust of members of the real estate industry, has led to the launch of a new independent website - TopAgents.co.nz.

This new site which is now live, will help home buyers and sellers make an informed decision when selecting an agent, based on public feedback posted on the site.

TopAgents.co.nz will allow the public to find and select New Zealand real estate agents that have proven to provide excellent service and have been recommended by the public,

Real estate agents can be added to the site by either the public, or by the agents themselves.

Members of the public can then find the listed agents by both region and by public rating. Agents are listed on the site in order of a rating from one to five - with five being the highest.

It is hoped the site will assist real estate buyers and sellers in making an informed decision when selecting an agent to represent them, and in turn help to negate recent criticism of unethical practices within the industry.
