TVNZ Appoints New Head of Advertising Sales
TVNZ has announced the appointment of Dave Walker as the new Head of Advertising Sales.
Dave has led the TVNZ Agency Sales team driving agency and advertiser relationships for more than five years.
He has an extensive background in media sales in both radio and television, and has worked in agencies in New Zealand and in Australia.
In his new role, he will take on responsibility for Programme Partnerships and for Online and Digital Advertising Sales – both areas in which TVNZ is leading the way in providing new opportunities for advertising partners.
TVNZ Chief Executive Rick Ellis says the appointment is particularly pleasing in that it comes from within the company. "It recognises Dave's proven capability and the high level of respect he enjoys with both agencies and advertisers."
Dave Walker will take over from Lauren James on July 2.
