AIAL's credit rating outlook changed to Negative
Standard & Poor's changes AIAL's credit rating outlook to Negative
Auckland International Airport Limited (AIAL) notes the announcement today from Standard & Poor’s (S & P) that it has changed its ‘A/A-1’ corporate credit ratings from Stable to Negative outlook.
The change in outlook from S & P followed the announcement yesterday that AIAL is in discussions with a number of parties regarding value enhancing opportunities. S & P has noted that this increases the prospect of an elevation in financial risk.
AIAL’s business is well funded with a mix of bank facilities, senior bonds, commercial paper and money market facilities. The change to Negative outlook has no implications for AIAL’s existing financing obligations.
