‘Whether you’re an adult or a child, There are some experiences you simply can’t replicate online, and the tactile joy of browsing in your local bookshop, and getting on first-name terms with your local bookseller, is undoubtedly one of them,’ he told the sell-out audience of industry heavyweights and authors.
