Mortgage Express Proud to Have Three Finalists in Industry Awards

31 July 2007

Mortgage Express, New Zealand’s largest non-franchised Mortgage Brokerage, is proud to have three of their brokers announced as finalists for the 2007 NZMBA Broker of the Year awards.

The NZMBA (New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association) is the governing body for New Zealand mortgage brokers with the annual awards part of showcasing and encouraging industry excellence.

Overall the finalists are broken in to nine geographic regions with the Mortgage Express finalists being Jenny Cheevers as a finalist in the Greater Wellington Region, and both Sue Clydesdale and Niki Olds finalists in the Canterbury region.

CEO/Director of Mortgage Express, Andrew L’Almont described the NZMBA Broker of the Year awards as about industry excellence with nominations coming from the lenders they deal with. Nominated brokers are scored on set criteria with emphasis on quality and performance with the finalists considered to be the “crème de la crème” of the industry.

Mr L’Almont said, “With now over 40 percent of New Zealanders relying on Mortgage Brokers to get them the best home loan, these awards are a great way to continue to build on business excellence and also be recognised for it in this growing industry.

He added, “We are very proud to have Jenny, Sue and Niki representing our brand. They are outstanding professionals and always do the very best for the people they work with. Being a finalist is another way of recognising the professionalism they bring to the industry and to their clients.

All the finalists receive a trophy with the regional winners, the specialist lender broker, and the supreme winner announced at the Gala Dinner in Rotorua on Friday the 7 September as part of the 10th annual NZMBA Conference.
