sellmefree.co.nz unique browsers increase by 140 per cent in five months
New Zealand’s free online market place sellmefree.co.nz has experienced more than 140 per cent growth to over 109,000 unique users since the site’s re-launch in March 2007 and is proving to be a serious contender in the rapidly evolving world of online auctions and classifieds.
sellmefree.co.nz attracted more than one million page impressions in July 2007 and growth is continuing at a rapid pace, with unique browsers up 66 per cent in July, compared to the previous month.
Josh Borthwick, General Manager for sellmefree.co.nz says “We are delighted with the growth that we’ve seen. It’s a heavily contested area of the online space, but we have always been confident that a free online classified and auction site would appeal to New Zealanders looking for an alternative in the market place.”
sellmefree.co.nz offer users free listings, free customer support via email or phone and is New Zealand’s only online auction or classified site that enables sellers to upload video clips of their items so that users can get a really good understanding of what they are buying.
“We felt that New Zealanders were ready for a fresh take on online selling and buying. Our approach is proving to be a winning formula, with registered members of the sellmefree.co.nz community listing items for free, loading videos for free and contacting buyers or sellers whenever they like. This growth is certainly indicating a bright future for sellmefree.co.nz” says Borthwick.
