New General Manager Appointed To Baycity Communications

Media release, 11 September 2007, BayCity Communications Ltd, Christchurch, New Zealand: NZ’s IPSTAR satellite communications provider BayCity Communications has appointed former British Telecom commercial manager Duncan Boennic to manage the company.

UK born Boennic completed an MBA from the University of Canterbury in 2006 and was employed by Eaton's Telecom Solutions Division in Christchurch immediately prior to joining Bay City. Before moving to New Zealand he was with BT Global Services (previously Syntegra) for five years as Lead Commercial Manager.

BayCity Communications was established in March 2007 to administer and promote access to the IPSTAR satellite which delivers satellite broadband internet services to thousands of New Zealand subscribers via a number of service providers including Orcon, Snap, Wireless Nation, ICONZ, Natcom and Farmside.
