Discussions with CPPIB
Discussions with CPPIB
Auckland International Airport Limited (Auckland Airport) is aware of market rumours relating to the status of discussions with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB).
As previously announced on 21 September, Auckland Airport has received a discussion paper from CPPIB. As indicated to the market at that time, the process to consider the indicative proposal contained in that discussion paper would take some time to complete. This is due to the complex nature of that proposal.
The Board confirms that the proposal is still being assessed and discussions with CPPIB are continuing.
The directors of Auckland Airport will provide an update to the market as soon as a decision has been made.
