Toll Tranzlink wins key transport award

Toll Tranzlink has been named as the winners of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in New Zealand Award 2007 for Safety and Security Innovation.

This award recognises cost effective innovation in safety devices, systems, procedures and regulations in any aspect of the New Zealand logistics, transport or supply chain sectors involving the movement of people and freight.

In giving Toll Tranzlink the award the judges congratulated TOLL TRANZLINK for the implementation of cutting edge technology covering freight tracking, asset utilisation and customer service delivery.

Toll Tranzlink Group General Manager Greg Miller says on accepting the award he was delighted that the effort his team had put into this area had been recognised.

He says,”Toll Tranzlink is always looking at ways to improve efficiency for our customers and was looked upon as leaders in the area of technology they had now introduced.”
