Dish Cover The Very Best That's Out There

Jones Publishing is proud to announce that Dish magazine has won Best Magazine Cover at the Qantas Media Awards 2008.

The husband and wife team of photographer Robin Hodgkinson and art director Mary Davy has been responsible for the execution of every Dish cover since the title launched in late 2004. They also created the magazine's eye-catching and memorable "hand-written" chocolate masthead.

"Working from a brief put together by the editorial team, Mary and Robin inevitably manage to surpass even our high expectations with every new cover image that they come up with," says publisher Julian Andrews.

In awarding the prize, the judges made reference to the striking nature of the cover imagery and how it never detracted from the distinctive masthead, and applauded how the straight-talking cover lines decisively described the contents of each edition.

The 18th issue of Dish goes on sale Monday 19 May, with yet another gorgeous cover - this time the subject is garlic - designed by our award-winning team.
