Strong Response to Digital Strategy
Strong Response to Digital Strategy
The Ministry
of Economic Development (MED) reports a good public response
to the government’s call for feedback on the draft Digital
Strategy 2.0. Submissions closed last week.
“Well over 100 submissions have been received – from members of the public, community groups, businesses and the public sector - and these are currently being analysed,” said MED Digital Development Team manager Brad Ward. “This is a very pleasing response and we thank all submitters for the effort they’ve put in.
“This is the first time we’ve used a wiki,” Brad Ward continued. “It’s a useful way to encourage active engagement in the consultation process – and obviously it’s an appropriate one considering the subject matter.”
