Windflow Position Attracts Returning Talent

Windflow Technology has appointed Tom Hooper to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

According to Windflow Technology CEO Geoff Henderson, Mr. Hooper will introduce a fresh strategic perspective and strengthen the organisation through his expertise in business development, financial management and his global vision. “Mr Hooper is familiar with challenging, dynamic and highly competitive business conditions. The New Zealand energy sector, the global demand for renewable energy and our need to achieve profitable growth is exactly the type of challenge that we believe Tom Hooper can master,” said Mr. Henderson.

Educated at the University of Canterbury, Tom has spent over 10 years in the UK developing and implementing business plans that led to companies under his direction being placed in the Top 100 Fastest growing companies in the UK for three years running, (2005, 2006, 2007).

His career achievements include restructuring an entrepreneurial enterprise to optimise profitability and lift turnover by over 150% to over $75M pa), extracting value and maximising the return for shareholders whilst creating an internal culture that led to a medium sized company with an employee base of around 100 being rated as one of the Top 100 SME companies to work for in the UK (2007).
