Trader Group performing well despite challenging economy

Trader Group reports successful figures in the latest results released by Nielsen Media Research and the Audit Bureau of Circulation.

The real stars were Motorcycle Trader & News, which compared to the December ’07 audit results showed a 4.0% circulation increase to 7,617 copies and NZ Motorhomes, Caravans & Destinations, growing 6.9% in circulation. This is NZ Motorhomes, Caravans & Destinations highest circulation ever, for the first time reaching a circulation of more than 7,000 copies (7,001).

“The increase in circulation in both these titles is encouraging in this market,” said Rhiannon Boulton, Publisher of Trader Group.

“The figures are reflecting New Zealanders’ reactions to a challenging economy by swapping their four wheels for two, and opting rather to keep their holidays local and explore the many wonderful places on the road in New Zealand,” said Boulton.

In readership Trader Group showed a consistent performance reinforcing why it is the category leader: five out of six titles remained stable or showed growth compared to the previous period’s readership results*. Additionally Trader Group increased the total gross copies read to 594,000 across its titles.
