Earthlings ParentBook scoops international prize
Kiwi social network Earthlings ParentBook scoops international prize…
New Zealand Parenting social network “Earthlings ParentBook” has won an international prize for developing the most creative, innovative and active social network developed on SocialGO.
SocialGo is a white label social networking platform based in the UK and in competition with Ning.
Entries were judged by a panel including blogger Neville Hobson and design agency Bostock and Pollitt, - the winner receiving £1000.
Earthlings ParentBook was chosen as the best in over a thousand international entries.
Earthlings owners Tim Thickpenny and Hannah Shone used the original platform and integrated it seamlessly into their existing site “Earthlings”, which is an organic and fairtrade clothing company for babies and toddlers.
Hannah said SocialGO was the third networking platform they had tried out.
“We loved how easy it was to customize the network, and to integrate with our website and we found lots of features we’d previously been unable to find in one place, such as status updates, privacy, site integration, music – and the list goes on…”
Tim said “Since setting up the network we have not looked back. The support we have received from the SocialGO team has been fantastic. We’re really enjoying the platform and we’re so stoked to have won the prize for best network!”
SocialGo employee Tom Chalet said,
“Earthlings-ParentBook was picked as the winner
due to its innovative use of the software to compliment an
existing business and for its sharp and well designed
appearance. It is with great pleasure that we give this
prize to Earthlings-ParentBook and we wish them every
success in the future.”
SocialGo CEO Dominic Wheatley
said.
“Earthlings parentBook has it all - great design,
linked to your website and serving your mums community. Just
the type of thing SocialGO was made for.”
