Beca appoints new Group CEO
New Zealand’s largest employee-owned consultancy, Beca, today announced the appointment of Keith Reynolds as its new Group CEO. Mr Reynolds will lead Beca’s global operations from the company’s headquarters in Auckland, starting on 1 September 2009.
Current Group
CEO Richard Aitken said in welcoming the appointment,
“With an outstanding track record in successfully
developing engineering consultancies across Asia and
Australia, Keith’s market and sector experience perfectly
matched our vision, and will position us ideally for
continued expansion in these areas.”
A civil engineer
by training, Mr Reynolds has managed large engineering and
design consultancies across the Pacific region during a
career focused predominantly in the infrastructure sector.
In his most recent role, Reynolds led the development of
Hyder Australasia’s engineering and environmental
businesses in roading, rail, water, resources and property
sectors, and under his leadership the organisation tripled
in size.
Mr Reynolds is due to take up the position in September, when Chairman Bob Durrant steps down and current Group CEO Richard Aitken moves into that role.
