Zeal 320 talks break down
The EPMU and Air New Zealand subsidiary Zeal 320 Ltd concluded mediation this morning at 1.15am without agreement.
The union is seeking a new collective agreement to cover 250 flight attendants flying Tasman and Pacific routes on Air New Zealand’s A320 fleet.
The union will hold a series of meetings with members to report back on the talks and consider what further action to take.
Union members are currently taking industrial action in the form of a refusal to comply with the Air New Zealand uniform policy and a refusal to carry out stand-by duties.
No further comment will be made until the completion of union meetings which is expected on Friday.
