Grande Wi-Fi Deal for Tomizone
Deal Sees Tomizone Wi-Fi Provider For Starbucks In Australasia

Auckland, 20 July 2009 – Tomizone, the largest Wi-Fi service provider in Australasia announced today that it has launched its leading Wi-Fi Hotspot services to 42 Starbucks Coffee outlets across New Zealand.

The agreement follows a similar arrangement with Starbucks Coffee in Australia, says Tomizone CEO, Steve Simms, where Tomizone provides Wi-Fi to their stores across Australia.

Starbucks customers will be able to use the Wi-Fi services from today at affodable rates, a factor that helped Restaurant Brands reach agreement with Tomizone.

Simms says that the Starbucks announcement caps off a six month period of extraordinary growth for Tomizone that has seen the Company conclude several major Wi-Fi deals with large retail brands and chains across both China and India.

“We are delighted to be able to expand our Wi-Fi Hotspot footprint in New Zealand and provide Internet connectivity services to Starbucks’ many customers. With the use of portable technology devices growing exponentially, we are seeing very heavy demand for wireless Internet connectivity in places like coffee shops, cafes, campuses and public areas. Wi-Fi service in popular places like Starbucks is now the expectation of today’s tech-savvy consumer.”

Starbucks New Zealand General Manager, Chris Buddle, says Starbucks is all about enabling connections between people and information over a cup of coffee.
