Freeing Up Business Migration: “Smart Move And Timely”
The Auckland Chamber of Commerce is urging businesses to take full advantage of the Government decision to free up the business migration scheme.
“Overseas business migrants with the ability to bring capital into New Zealand need constraints removed,” said Chamber Chief Executive Michael Barnett.
To enable intending migrants to have access to an easy process to identify opportunities to invest in New Zealand and take full advantage of the scheme, the Chamber intends setting up a database of businesses looking for investment and the opportunity to expand.
“Today’s announcement is both timely and a smart move,” said Mr Barnett.
If the Government and business develop a good partnership in the shaping of the scheme, he anticipated it would help keep an eye on aspirants to ensure there was no abuse.
