AXA’s customer - top position in New Zealand

AXA’s customer - focused claims service scores top position in New Zealand: 2009 industry survey

AXA has been named top industry performer for its expert customer claims service, in the 2009 W A. Taylor intermediary survey.

Insurance advisers across the industry rated AXA number one for claims action out of the seven major companies in New Zealand.

AXA won the prime position for its fair, accurate and timely claims processing, considered by advisers as the most crucial qualities for an insurer.

AXA’s local call centre was also recognised for its staff competency, problem resolution, staff courtesy and helpfulness.

Mark Ennis, AXA General Manager Marketing and Financial Protection says the industry rating is great news for customers needing reassurance that their insurance provider has their best interests at heart.

“We are dedicated to providing our customers with an expert and caring service throughout their lives - from the time they join us as customers, to when they need us most at claims time,” says Ennis.

“This endorsement is proof that we can achieve our aim by making a positive difference to some peoples’ lives.

AXA currently has an AA Rating for its claims paying ability. No other New Zealand insurer rates higher.

In 2008, AXA New Zealand paid more than $84 million in Claims to customers.
