Sacred Hill Winery has launched HALO, a new range of premium varietals from leading NZ wine regions to delight wine lovers.

The HALO range has been crafted by Sacred Hill senior wine maker Tony Bish to bring premium quality, small parcel wines back into people’s everyday enjoyment. These wines will appeal to those people looking for that little bit more in their wine, fresh, vibrant New Zealand styles with some of the old world, hand crafted techniques applied to them.

“We want to give people richly textured wines, brimming with aromas and flavours that are true to the varietal and region from where they are sourced,” says Bish.

“HALO wines are a genuine reflection of the land from where they come as well as the people who put the time and effort into lovingly tending the vines and bringing the individual wines to life.”

The grapes for these wines have been sourced from carefully selected areas within Estate vineyards in the Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough regions. Hells Gate Vineyard in the Waihopai Valley, Marlborough has provided fruit for gold medal winning wines and consistently delivers outstanding quality grapes. This vineyard has provided fruit for the HALO Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.

When it comes to the HALO Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot /Cabernet Sauvignon/ Cabernet Franc, the wine makers are playing to their strengths. All three wines styles consistently rate as some of the best from the Hawkes Bay region. Sacred Hill Estate vineyards have for years supplied fruit to the company enabling the creation of many award winning wines from all of these varieties.

HALO offers a new discovery in every bottle and is a classic example of the best of the best from around New Zealand.
