release
Boutique tourism operator Tora Coastal Walk is still enjoying the fruits of winning the RWNZ Enterprising Rural Woman Award 2009.
Co-owner Kiri Elworthy says
double the usual number of people came to enjoy the three
day Wairarapa coastal walk during October, attributing the
growth in business to publicity from their award win earlier
this year.
Applications are now open for the RWNZ
Enterprising Rural Women Award 2010 and Kiri Elworthy
strongly encourages other rural businesswomen to enter,
saying the award was a great boost for the business she runs
in partnership with Jenny Bargh.
“If anyone was
thinking about entering, I would highly recommend it. It
has given us a great sense that what we are doing is right
– it has revitalised us.”
Further information and
entry forms are available on the RWNZ website http://http://www.ruralwomen.org.nz.
Entries
close on 17 February
2010.
