Certus Appoints Manager For New Line Of Business In New Zealand Market
AUCKLAND, 09 February 2010: Certus Solutions, Australasia’s largest specialist IBM software and services provider, has appointed Dave Hickling as General Manager to establish a new line of business in enterprise infrastructure.
Hickling will be responsible for the overall management, strategy and revenue generation activities of the business, which will focus on selling IBM UNIX and Intel blade servers and storage infrastructure to existing customers in the New Zealand market.
Prior to accepting this role, Hickling was Enterprise Sales Specialist for Integral Technology Group in Auckland where he was responsible for identifying prospects and developing business relationships for customers needing storage and enterprise system solutions. Before that he spent two years working as a Sales Specialist for IBM UK, covering Southern England, Scotland, Ireland, France and Germany.
Certus’ enterprise infrastructure business will concentrate on providing high-end IBM hardware and after sales support for customers who need specialist services to meet their core infrastructure, system consolidation, data communications and systems security requirements
Certus Chief Executive, Brian Allen, says the company is delighted to have someone with Dave’s depth of sales experience and technical knowledge head up the new team.

Hickling will be based in Certus’ Auckland office and his role is effective immediately.
