EzyPay – Not the Biggest but Possibly the Smartest
EzyPay – Not the Biggest but Possibly the Smartest Christchurch based payroll bureau
Ezypay Limited, may not be the biggest bureau in New Zealand but they certainly seem to be the only one thinking outside the square.
The company has grown rapidly over the last few years, possibly due to the fact that the Bureau Manager, Paula Retallick, seems to have gone to school with most of the Managers (it’s a Canterbury thing) but mainly because of the interaction the staff have with their clients.
Their latest idea really shows how much they look after their client’s interests. Late last year they researched what value added services they could provide not only their clients but also their client’s employees.
This has resulted in them now being in a position to provide all their clients a Group Medical Insurance scheme.
Group Medical Insurance has normally been the reserve of large corporates, but since Ezypay are paying in excess of 3,000 people they are deemed large.
Unimed came to the party and is now offering all Ezypay clients, regardless of size and the number that join, a Group Medical Insurance scheme.
The benefits are confidential to clients but in summary consist of:
Reduced Premium Rates
No stand down period on claims
Automatic inclusion for selected pre conditions
The scheme will be administered by Kathleen Branson from Branson & Associates.
Managing Director, Justin Ryan says, ‘We have been working on ways to better serve our clients and their employees for a long time but this, I believe is a NZ first for a payroll bureau. Maybe we should approach the banks and see what they will do for our clients and their staff as well…any takers?’
