TANDBERG Announces Senior New Zealand Appointment

Auckland (March 12, 2010) – TANDBERG® (OSLO: TAA. OL) the leading global provider of telepresence, high–definition video conferencing and mobile video solutions, has announced the appointment of Dominic Stevens as Product and Sales Engineer based in Wellington.

Stevens joins TANDBERG with 20 years’ experience in the IT industry within a variety of roles spanning IT integration, consultancy, training and engineering. At TANDBERG, he will be responsible for supporting the company’s New Zealand sales team and channel partners with the planning, design, and delivery of visual communication solutions.

Most recently, Stevens was Senior Test Analyst for Gen-i where he worked on VoIP transition projects for both private and public sector clients. During this time, he provided test strategy and migration project planning for several programs in data, voice, service management and hosted contact centre environments.

Prior, he spent five years running his own Australian-based consultancy practice specialising in providing clients with IT security, VoIP services and training. This included assisting both service provider and end user organisations with strategic planning, design and consulting services as well as delivering technical training for Cisco and Checkpoint accreditations.

He previously worked for four years at Datacraft New Zealand where he held several roles, including project management, service delivery management and pre-sales engineering.

Prior to joining Datacraft, Stevens was based in Moscow for three years, where he worked as Project Manager for travel reservation system company, Amadeus, and as a networking consultant for Cable & Wireless, the Australian Embassy and the Anglo-American School.

Stevens is a Certified Cisco Instructor, a Certified Novell Engineer, and a qualified Microsoft trainer. His comprehensive work experience includes technical and networking support positions with Auldhouse Computer Training, Unisys New Zealand, Datacom Systems, Informatics New Zealand, Telecom New Zealand and Victoria University.
