ABE’S Real Bagels Ltd Don’t Use Palm Oil and Never
Have
ABE’S Real Bagels Ltd released a
statement today stating they have never used the ingredient
Palm Oil in their products.
ABE’S Director Megan Sargent said: “Recently there has been speculation in the media regarding companies who use palm oil and it was implied that ABE’S Real Bagels was one of them.
“We’d like to state that ABE’S has never used palm oil and never will. At ABE’S Real Bagels we’ve worked hard to bring you the best tasting products we can – naturally.
“It is clear that palm oil production contributes to rain forest destruction and this is something ABE’S is totally against.
“At ABE’S we don’t use preservatives, artificial flavours, colours, GM ingredients or palm oil,” said Sargent. “The ingredients listing for some of our products states ‘vegetable oil’ which is actually Canola oil. Our more recent packaging lists GM free Canola oil.”
ABE’S Real Bagels produces Bagels, Bagel Crisps, and the new Sweet Bagel Bites.
