Volcanic activity in Iceland affecting flights
Volcanic activity in Iceland affecting Singapore Airlines flights to Europe
Due to volcanic activity in Iceland and ash cloud moving over Northern Europe and the United Kingdom, Singapore Airlines is advising customers with bookings for travel to and from Europe today or tomorrow not to go to the airport.
Currently, a large number of Singapore Airlines flights to Europe have been cancelled and we are not able to say when airports will reopen. Because of this we are not accepting customers who have onward connections from Singapore on flights to Europe. All other routes outside of Europe remain unaffected and continue to be serviced as normal.
Customers booked on affected flights are advised not to go to the airport. Customers who have registered their mobile telephone numbers with Singapore Airlines will be notified by SMS text message of alternative flight arrangements.
Further information can be obtained by calling 0800 808 909 and regular updates are available on www.singaporeair.com
