95% On-Time Performance For April Domestic Flights
Friday 14 May 2010: Pacific Blue’s
domestic on-time performance remained high last month with
95% of the airline’s flights within New Zealand departing
on time.
Pacific Blue CEO, Mark Pitt, said the April
figure continued a very positive trend.
“In the past six months Pacific Blue’s monthly domestic on-time performance has ranged between 93% and 96.5%,” he said.
“We know our Guests appreciate our commitment to great on time performance and we’re pleased to be reporting such consistent results.”
Pacific Blue was the first airline in New Zealand to regularly publish its domestic on-time performance results. On-time is counted as flights that depart within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time.
The airline makes no exceptions for bad weather, air traffic control, delays from suppliers, unscheduled maintenance, consequences of previous delays or anything else.
