New Zealand IT company to extend reach into Australia market with launch of Perth office
New Zealand information technology solutions company, Intergen, today announced its intent to consolidate its presence in the Australian market, with the official opening of a local office in Perth scheduled for June 17, 2010.
Intergen has been operating in Perth since 2007. The increase in ‘on the ground’ presence in Australia comes in light of significant growth in customer demand for Intergen’s enterprise level Microsoft solutions in Australia, particularly in the Western Australian market.
While a number of Intergen staff currently operate remotely in Sydney and Perth, this is the first ‘bricks and mortar’ style presence the company has made in Australia.
The new Intergen office, located in Leederville Perth, will be declared officially open by Intergen’s Managing Director, Tony Stewart and Chief Operating Officer, Simon Bright.
Of Intergen’s expansion into Australia, Mr Stewart said, “We are thrilled to be extending our reach into the Australian market with the official opening of an Intergen office in Perth. The increased demand we are experiencing for our services in Australia means that this is a logical and necessary step for us to make in order to deliver the high level of service and customer interaction on which we pride ourselves and in order to ensure a solid local presence.”
The Intergen team is currently providing consulting services to a prominent WA institution looking to leverage a cloud computing strategy and are looking to secure other significant contracts in the local market in the coming months… all testament to the merits of opening a Perth based office.
An award winning Microsoft Gold partner, Intergen’s offerings include portals, content and collaboration solutions, Microsoft Dynamics financial and relationship management, custom software development, management consulting and hosting services.
“We are looking forward to furthering our Australian presence in the future, with our growth determined by the uptake and demand for our enterprise level Microsoft solutions,” Mr Stewart added.
