Speedy Signs Stores Celebrate 10 Year Milestones

Speedy Signs Franchise Stores Celebrate 10 Year Milestones

The first two Speedy Signs franchises to have been in business 10 years, recently held anniversary functions to celebrate the milestone.

“Survival for some businesses over the past few years has been a challenge, however Speedy Signs in East Tamaki and Manukau both have established their place in a competitive market by providing quality and service to their respective customers,” Business Development Manager Business for the Speedy Signs Franchise Group Greg Longstaff said.

“It’s testament to the great support we get from committed owners and to the excellent work done by these two franchises.”

Both businesses recently held functions in store to celebrate. At the East Tamaki store over 80 local business owners, friends and associates from the south and eastern Auckland suburbs turned out to help Brent and Donna Neighbour celebrate the occasion.

“They had great support from local clients including Mr Chips and Dunkin Donuts providing some of the food offering for the celebration, along with the special guests from the Hulme Supercar team,” Longstaff said.

Reaching this milestone has been part of a successful year for the store, as they were also awarded the exclusive “Business Management Award” in February at the United Franchise Group Australasian Expo held on Australia’s Gold Coast.

The Manukau branch of Speedy Signs has also had a similar number of local businesses and distinguished guests attend their function, including Jan McLaren from the Bruce McLaren Trust, Manukau Mayor Len Brown, and Jo Pavletich from South Auckland Hospice.

Both branches support the South Auckland Hospice as their favoured charity as they both have their base in the South Auckland region.

The Speedy Signs Group has 23 stores nationwide and is also sponsors of New Zealand’s only UCI registered cycling team the Subway-Avanti Pro Cycling Team.

There was a display provided by the team at both functions profiling the team which is racing this month’s Tour de Qinghai Lake event in China.
